Can anyone find Daniel in 1881?

b.1854 in Sedgley, son of Daniel Jeavons and Hannah Aston. The family moved from the Sedgley area to the Birmingham area in the 1850's. After 1871 some of them moved to West Bromwich (Daniel senior died in West Bromwich in 1875) to the Trinity Road area.

I've been looking for a marriage in West Bromwich and Birmingham, but have come up with nothing. No definate for 1901 either!

Do you think Mary and or Daniel had been married before?
Theres a big age gap in 1891 and in 1911 it says married 25 years that would make it around 1886 a year before Daniel was born.

It's a possibilty that he's been married before! That 1901 census looks interesting too!
I've been looking at those census details again, and wondering if my enthusiasm got the better of me when I was originally looking them up. The one I'm sure of is 1871 where Daniel's still with his parents, he's a moulder on that census, the same as on the other census records. I'm going to have to rethink this one!

I came across some Longs from Harborne yesterday, there may be another link!
Just checked it's abit of a long shot though!!!!
Daniel's nephew married the daughter of an Elizabeth Long. But it does maybe show that the families knew each other!! The surname wasn't that common in Staffordshire by the looks of it!
