I'm not sure that Jesse was widowed actually as in the 1861 he is down as unmarried (35), living with widowed brother William (46).

Jesse Taylor seems to be son of William and Letitia, bpt at Rowley 9th Jan 1825. Can't find William's baptism though, parents seems to have married in 1809 at Birmingham so should be same for William.

so I guess Letitia died and William remarried.

So William snr must have married Mary 1830-1841

and I just hope it isn't the 1832 marriage at St Thos Dudley to Mary Taylor :shock:
