Just sorting out my folders and files to clear some off my computer and found this which will of interest to some Sidaway researchers. Don't know where I had it from but have been 'sitting' on it for yonks.

Thomas Sidaway was a Church Warden 1847 - 1850
Also a Trustee of the Sunday School
The Sidaway Memorial Reads:-
Marble Stone In a Vault at the Parish Church in the Village are interred the remains of Benjamin Sidaway of this Parish who died 18th March 1772 aged 63 years. James his son who died 3.12.1750 in the ninth year of his age, Sarah, Hannah and Mary his daughters who died in infancy. Jane wife of the above named Benjamin Sidaway who died 16.5.1784 aged 77 years. Also Martha, daughter of Jeptha and Ann Gaunt, and wife of Thomas Sidaway of Reddall Hill House in this Parish who died 24.5.1796, aged 61. Horatio Trafalgar James, son of Thomas and Sidaway Jnr, who died 27.6.1807, aged 20 months. Thomas Sidaway of Redhall Hill House, son of the above named Benjamin and Jane Sidaway who died 25.2.1813 in the 78th year his age. James Sidaway of Foxoak Green House son of the above named Thomas and Martha Sidaway who died 8.6.1813 aged 51. This Monument was erected in the District of Reddall Hill Church at Fox Oak in remembrance, by their affectionate descendant Thomas Sidaway of Reddall Hill House in the year 1847. Also of Thomas (son of the above Thomas and Martha Sidaway, born April 25th, 1773, died December 17th 1855. Interred in vault at Rowley Regis Church Yard. (North Transept Arch.)
