Just added my Ferdinando Shakespear and that line goes all the way back to Edward Shakespear 1580 and Ann- that I have in notes given.
Does anyone have their line linking to this one at all?

I think my tree links to an Edward Shakespeare born abt 1579 Dudley, married to Ann who died 1636 Dudley.

They had a child, William abt 1603 Rowley Regis, who married Joyce Prise/Price, and they had Edward bap. 5 Feb 1637 Dudley.

Edward 1637 married twice:
1. Sibilla Burrows (m. 22 Oct 1657, St. Thomas’, Dudley):
Edward bap. 10 Aug 1658 Dudley, bur. 17 Jul 1726, Dudley
Thomas b. abt 1660
2. Alice ...........

Edward 1658 married Mary Emerton (m. 22 Oct 1679, St. Thomas’, Dudley):

Their eldest son, John Edward (bap. 5 Apr 1691, Dudley) married twice:
1. Elizabeth Perry (m. 28 Nov 1715, St. Thomas’, Dudley)
Josiah b. 1724 married Ann Woodhouse (my 7G Aunt)

2. Ann Beckley (m. 7 Oct 1734)

We can connect 'em up, NL

I think you will find they all go back to Edward born about 1580, wasn't he the first one to arrive in the Black Country,

As you know NL I have Shakespeares in my husband's line. Thought Benjamin born c1811 who married Elizabeth Brettle was Ferdinando Jnr's brother but now not certain as he may have been the son of another couple of the same name ie. Ben and Elizabeth. Any one know anything. They were from the Woodside area near Dudley.

THOMAS SHAKESPEAR.
HANNAH MULLETT.
Marriage, 23 MAY 1825. Kingswinford, Stafford,

I don't think I have ever asked for a look up on it.

This is the family that I was looking at being the parents of THOMAS.

JOSEPH SHAKESPEARE. 1782.
MARY HIGGS.
Elizabeth. 1804.
Thomas. 1805.
Sarah. 1807.
Phoebe. 1810.
Mary Ann. 1812.
Joseph. 1813.
Anna Maria. 1814.
Isachar. 1816.
John. 1818.
Emma. 1820.

This is Thomas's family.

THOMAS SHAKESPEARE. ABT 1805
HANNAH MULLETT. 1805.
Mary. 1825.
Joseph. 1827.
John. 1830.
Elizabeth. 1832.
Isaachar. 1834.
Thomas. 1836.
Hannah. 1838.
Mary Ann. 1840.
Phebe. 1843.

So looking at the similar children names Joseph and Mary could be right.
