Completed---Parsons link to Mucklow/Woolvin & Hobbs

Jan& kdw have inserted dretails of a Phillena Harris who married a Thomas Mucklow.In notes it is noted that parents of Phillena were Joseph Harris and Catherine.
I have a Joseph Harris married to Catherine Parsons born 1732 RR. married at RR 11/4/1753 .
Also Samuel Mucklow born 1803 ( son of Thomas & Phillena) and Maria Smart had a daughter Philena Mucklow born 1834 who shown as marrying on bcc but appears to have had a son Thomas Mucklow born 1852 ( see 1871 Census details) and possibly two more by unknown father. A Mucklow descendant on Ancestry has Philena has mother of Thomas. Thomas went on to marry a Sarah Ann Foster and then Sarah Woolvin (nee Leonard) and This then connects to Hobbs and other families.

I know we looked at this at length before but I think Philena was unlikely to be mother of Thomas Mucklow as she married twice between 1864 and 1873 odd and children did not come to live with her. I think mother was most likely the Sarah / Sally Mucklow who died c. 1857 as there is no trace of her after 1851 Census and no marriage.

Do you have the marriage certs for Thomas?

I don't think Philena had any children

In 1871 Samuel and Maria have 3 Grandchildren living with them Thomas age 19 James age 16 and Albert age 7.

I have sent for the marriage cert of Philena and Thomas Bennett, will update when it arrives.

What do you need for this if you need marriages looking up then please post them.

I do not think marriage look up will help as when Thomas married his father would probably not be shown. I think their is sufficient evidence to suggest that mother was Sarah/ Sally and this should be noted with a note that not possible to confirm but most likely candidate. I have endeavoured to contact person on Ancestry noting Philena as mother but no reply as yet.
I will look up the RR records for the Catherine Parsons marriage
