Yep, NL, James (assuming James and Letitia were indeed siblings) married Sarah Ann Murphy on 25 Dec 1884 at St Giles' and Letitia married Humphrey Humphreys at St Thomas', Dudley in 1880. No trace of Letitia after her marriage, but there is a Letitia Humphreys in the USA censuses, born the same year, 1858, sailing to New York via Cherbourg in 1908 and later in Washington, but I think this is a different person. Mysterious

This is a tricky one, Jo, there seem to be so many Humphrey Humphreys in the censuses and at least two from Oldbury! I'll look into it. D.

I think you may be right, Jo, Martha was born abt. Mar 1893 in Dewsbury, Yorkshire, I presume H John was as well and William in abt. Jun. 1896. I can't find a record of the marriage, I can't find them in 1891 either.

I wonder if anyone can get them on 1911?

One of the younger childrens birth certificate will give Emmas maiden name.

That should be Hooton Road, Kilnhurst. I've no idea where Roma Terrace was in Yorkshire, it's not there now according to Google. Denaby (not Donaby) appears to be in South Yorkshire, my oracle Google again:

"Denaby Main Colliery Village, situated between Mexborough and Conisbrough in South Yorkshire, was the original name given to the village built by the Denaby Main Colliery Company to house its workers and their families. This name was used to distinguish it from the village of "Denaby", situated about 1 km. away on the road to Hooton Roberts and Kilnhurst, which, from that time, became known as "Old Denaby". In due course the "Colliery Village" part of the name was lost, leaving the village to be known as "Denaby Main"" (Wikipedia s. v. "Denaby").

married 22 years

That marriage would add up then. Also Denaby is in the Doncaster registration area too.

Wonder when Letitia died?
