ARC TBC...Arthor GRIFFIN 1751-1821 Newbury Berkshire

Post by Rob G »

Arthor GRIFFIN b. abt 1751 Newbury Berks m. Sarah STRONG 19 Apr 1775 at St Mary, Kingsclere
Thier marriage produced the following children:

Charles Strong 1775
Andrew 1779
William 1781
Jane 1783
Hannah 1787
Elizabeth 1789
William 1791
Letitia 1794
Edward 1799

Most of the above were baptized at the Presbytarian Upper Meeting Rooms in Newbury, presume the family were non-conformist?
Arthor was a weaver. He died and was buried 23 Jan 1821 at St Nicholas church, Newbury which would indicate that he spent his life in or near that vacinity.

Have yet to trace parents of Arthor/Sarah but would appreciate information regarding any of the family.
