Hi Folks, Thank you for permitting me to join the Forum. Several nights ago I came across the forum and in particular a tree belonging to a Longmore family. I cannot remember the name of the person that owned the tree but some of the names in the tree are also in my tree. I would love to contact the owner of the tree. my father, Joseph William Longmore and his two brothers were born in Moor Lane, Brockmoor 1918,1919 and 1924 and sometime between the wars the family moved to 16 Fens Crescent, Brierley Hill. Their Father Joseph Longmore was born 1889 in Sun Street. He served in WW1 and was wounded and in Dec1917 was medically discharged. He married Mabel Capewell in 1917. I have been doing my family tree for some time now and I thought i had found all my cousins/relatives but obviously not, so I would dearly love to contact the owner of the tree in the forum to compare notes. Thanks again and I hope to hear soon.

Welcome

I have deleted your email address for safety reasons.

If anyone is able to contact Bill please send him a pm.

If you can find who has added the info on a relative on the tree there is usually a name.
The tree is owned by Grangers14 who also runs it now, not myself.
The tree has been grown by a number of people who both connect and don't connect to ancestors.
So it may be that your rellie has been added by someone unconnected to the family.

Normally the words Connect to are posted in front of the name.
Although we have in the early days just added our names.

Hello Bill,

I am glad you joined :) It was myself you had spoken/messaged to.
As has been said, the tree is a collaboration of many people, past and present... I just run it.

I think this is your family on BCC? If you click the link
https://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/t ... ver=579552

It looks like the BCC tree differs from your information. If you could post your information on the Black Country Section here
viewforum.php?f=29
We can try and look into it.

I hope you find the forum friendly and you enjoy your time here.
Jo :)
