*Completed* -Martha Slater b 1841

Postby Northern Lass » Tue Oct 14, 2008 4:56 pm

This links with the Joseph Ruston one but gonna keep the threads seperate as easier to search once archived.

Her father appears to be a Jospeh Slater.
So can she be found on Census pre 1860 ie 1851 with family.

Di highlighted this one...
1851 census is daughter of Josh & Sabina at Blackbury Town, Rowley Regis. there seems to be a number of Slaters in this area.

Could Josh be short for Joseph?
or could it be trans in the marriage as Josh too and they have read it as Joseph.
I thought it would be Joshua what do we think?
Does Josh also mean Joseph and Joshua
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
