Emily Westwood 22 Pauper Inmate single Oldbury - imbecile

1881: "Union Workhouse" Hallam St, West Bromwich
Emily Westwood 11 Pauper Wednesbury, Staffs - idiot

Can we find her in 1871 maybe to see who her parents are

I've looked on Ancestry but can't find any sign of her in 1871.I did find a death though. 2nd quarter Emily Westwood 45 West Bromwich.Might be her.
How tragic to live your life in a Workhouse.She was mentioned as Idiot and Imbecile. My paternal grandmother was born in Sedgley Workhouse and i thought, when i found out, how sad i wish i'd have known when she was alive but this lady Emily Westwood ....Terrible. Let's hope we can find something about her and to give her some recognition that she ever lived.

I have looked this afternoon too. There are a few born around that time, I didn't see one that stuck out to be a possible...

It is so sad...

I couldn't see her in 1871 at the workhouse

going to add a note to Emily remembering her....

unless we can find her birth or her on 1871 dont think we can do much more on this one?
