Is it possible to look up the residents of 10 Cranworth Road, Winchester, Hampshire in the 1939 Register please?
Surname may be Lelliott.

No 'Cranworth Road ' shown on register...
tried Lelliott, Winchester still nothing shown or similar name.

Thanks. The address was given by Sydney Lelliott, a radio operator, possibly in the forces but definitely in government employ, as his home address when he sailed for Colombo in 1953, on his return 3 years later he gave his occupation as 'civil servant' giving his wife's parent's address in Cambridgeshire. Streetview shows Cranworth Road to be a street of Victorian semis & terraces so the property was there in 1939.

Found 10 Cranworth Road, Winchester MB, Hampshire.
A Bernard Brooks dob 24 Oct 1913 Wood Machinist & family in residence.

Thanks. Maybe Kenneth Sidney was a lodger after the war. Oh, I've just noticed I've missed out his first name in the earlier post.
I don't suppose you can find Kenneth Sidney Lelliott anywhere can you?
