COMPLETED William & Henry Christian

This William Christian

http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... ver=375062

and this Henry Christian

http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... ver=375062

I think could be brothers, purely going on the fact that their occupations are Soap Boilers.

Can anybody find any baptisms for them please as I can't see anything to tie them together.

Another thing, as they are both soap boilers would they have been working for a company? If so, where in the Black Country? I did wonder if they had anything to do with the Lever Brothers of Port Sunlight on the Wirral, but probably too soon.

Thanks NL will do that.

sp1 - Does this family connect to you? I can't find any burials on FreeREG for the names you mention in All Saints, Sedgley. The burials are pretty well covered for those years, but of course there could be some years that haven't been transcribed yet.

Forget the above sp1, just found it on Ancestry Find A Grave. They were buried at St Chad's and All Saints R.C. Sedgley

Oops, sorry- that's where I found it - missed the St Chads bit!

Edit - isn't Christian an Isle of Man surname- wonder if they (or their father) came from there ?

Entered all on BCC. Thanks very much both. Just seen that someone on Ancestry has them as brothers, sons of James & Sarah Christian, but no source on how they are connected.

Completed with thanks.
