John Joseph Willetts---NL adding to Bcc

Post by LisaPaUS »

Hi! I am trying to figure out who John Joseph Willetts of Old Hill, Rowley Regis married. He was the son of John and Jemima Willetts of Old Hill, Peartree Lane. He was born abt.1893 in Rowley. I have a photo of him and his wife and baby from 1923. And it says John Joseph Willetts and his wife Lily. I kind of narrowed it down to 2 possibilities but haven't been able to confirm which one it might be. I have a John J Willetts married Lily B Perks, Dudley Staffordshire in 1914. And a John Willetts married Lily Tromans, Dudley in 1915. Either one could be right or maybe there are more John Willetts married to Lily ? around that same time. I don't know! Unfortunately the baby's name isn't on the pic or that would have probably solved it. Any help appreciated!

Thanks rockyfowler!

I'm not sure but that could be the right one. The only thing I wonder is her putting her father as Joseph because both he and his father went by Jack for whatever reason. But maybe to his immediate family he went by his middle name Joseph. :?:
