Peeky Blinders - Is there a connection to my ancestors?

Postby mallosa » Fri Oct 04, 2013 11:09 am

For those who may have watched last night episode....

The 'LEE' family were involved and Montague Street was also mentioned. Also not sure if another family were the 'CHAPMANS or CHATWINS' ?

Can't get it out of my head when I look at my family here -

They were a bad lot, but to paraphrase someone else the most interesting ancestors were usually the black sheep of the family!!
We're supposed to have a Aussie convict somewhere, but I can't find the bleeder anywhere!!

My 2nd great grandmothers brother Benjamin Bowater was sent to Australia because he was a dangerous lunatic, and died on the voyage.A lot of my hubby's family have spent time in Winson Green (not recently  ) .
