Re: Proud Grandmother
I'm also a proud grandmother...
Our eldest granddaughter who's 11 had her SATS results a few weeks ago, she along with two lads were put in for level 6 Maths
They have been friendly rivals for a while now so you can image how delighted she was when she got the Level 6 and they got Level 5

Re: Proud Grandmother
I would like to think she gets her intelligence from me
, but I don't think she does , although my brother is a cival engineer , and my cousins on my moms side are teachers ,and one became a head teacher . My husbands cousin is a geologist, so it must come from them . I am just keeping my fingers crossed she will do well , and get into Uni .

While I'd admit we don't want all our kids to be academics, we do need them too. And not all university students end up as academics in their working life, some are radiographers, nurses, etc.
