iam i right in thinking the there was some law saying that you couldnt marry you wife sister or your husband brother and this law ended sometime after the 2nd world war
can any one help

I have one in my tree who married his sister in law, his first wife died in Feb 1842, he then married her sister in July 1842 then they went to America.
