Hi Mandy,
just seen your note that Harriet was married to Thomas Avery 1847 Christ church West Bromwich.

Can you confirm her maiden name was Greenfield.

We have on BCC that " Added by Jan 25-2-13

William ARTESS/Harriet HAYBURY
Sand.Reg. Off..1/1/434.

Thanks
Rod

mjay do you have this marriage pls so we can confirm what Harriets name actually is ie maiden name

1865
Surname Forename(s) Surname Forename(s) Church / Register Office Registers At Reference
HAYBURY Harriet ARTESS William Smethwick, Holy Trinity Sandwell Register Office 1/1/434

So Haybury could have been Avery and misheard?

and this could be her first marriage?
1847
Surname Forename(s) Surname Forename(s) Church / Register Office Registers At Reference
AVERY Thomas GREENFIELD Harriet West Bromwich, Christ Church Sandwell Register Office 23/2/71
