He must of been like a lath 6 ft 7 1/2 and 140 lbs and a chest 36ins expanded 4in expansion so 32 ins chest, his chest is only 9ins wider than me thigh :lol: :lol: :lol:

thanks for the replies , most of the men were working class. fittings strikers , chainmakers , miners etc. avenaging out about 5 foot 5 inches and 125 pounds . thomas bayliss saw no overseas service , so he was lucky to be so tall!
