my dad played for for them he used to talk about a momentous cup match against cadburys where he was carried of the pitch by the cadburys supporters fer playing so well

The Cresconians was formed i think for Oldbury Grammar "Old Boys" and is still in existence now.

Yes i think that's them Sparky.Any old Oldbury Grammar School Old Boys on here? Dennis's mate he went to Oldbury Grammar but he couldn't play football for toffee!

Played against them a number of times in the 50s & 60s in
the Senior Division B'ham A.F.A....I played for
Birmingham Fire & Ambulance Service. .......other teams
were...Midland Bank (Denis Amiss, Warks C.C.) played for them.

My Ex is an "old" Oldbury Grammar School boy - I'm sure I remember him saying he played for the Cresconians, he also played for Oldbury United and Richardson Steels.
