I'm wrong to discount Martha in Lowestoft. I've found the Solomon/Martha Priest family indexed under Preece in 1861, and daughter Martha is living with them. So the Martha in Lowestoft looks like she is the right one after all - sorry Jimmy! Can't remember why I thought she wasn't - obviously i need to take better notes.
