Good news 1911 Census Complete & fully searchable
The England & Wales 1911 Census is now complete. We've finished all the transcriptions, so you can search for your relatives just as you would in our other census records. Better yet, it's available as part of your existing membership, at no extra cost!

Exceptional records

The 1911 Census is our most detailed collection yet, with a page dedicated to each household. You can see your ancestors' original handwriting, look for any extra comments they made, and discover further information like how long couples had been married.

We've created an exclusive viewer that brings these records to life like never before. Move your cursor all the way along your ancestors' entries for a detailed description of what each column is telling you – and our interpretation of any difficult handwriting.
