In 1911 they were living in Barrow in Furness with two daughters, Florence b 1898 Dudley, and Priscilla b 1900, Barrow in Furness.
The said part is that the 1911 census tells us they had had 18 children born alive, and 16 of them were dead.

On a happier note these two daughters survived and married and had families after the family returned to Dudley.

Does anyone have any ideas who Josephs parents were, or is a marriage lookup needed?
I know there were three Josephs born within a year of each other, and can account for one of them.

Yes, I agree, up to a point, but I think there are only three candidates so may need to do the marriage lookup to sort this out.
