I am trying to find Joseph With father Isaac a Iron Worker, I can find Isaac a carter but not Iron worker, appreciate some help with this please.

Issac Mason HD 41 General Carter Dudley
Sarah Wife 41 Dudley
Joseph Son 16 Black Smith's Forge Labourer Dudley
Bertie Son 11 Dudley
Walter Son 3 Dudley
Lily Da 8 Dudley

Issac could have been a Carter in an Iron Works, moving the Iron around, it used to get taken down to the Canal and put on Barges and shipped out all over the world, when we were the Worlds greatest exporter :!:

Confirms it for me with this

1891. 8 Ct 3 Broom Street, Dudley
Isaac Mason, head, 33, Horse Driver
Jane, wife, 30,
John Henry, son, 6,
Bertie, son, 1 (Bertie was with him as brother in 1911)
All born Dudley

Yes Linell it is the one of the census I found , thank you for explaing I never thought about that , was thinking he would be in a factory so appreciate your help.

Yes Bertie was with him on the 1911 and so was brother Walter, found a Lilly who was a living in Domestic born same year in Dudley , it was the different jobs he had that was throwing me and like to be double sure. :wink:
