Hi Everyone
My Name is Roy and I live in the Black Country, names I'm currently researching the names Hadley, Hamblett, Powell, Webb, I have had a life long ambition to research my family tree, could only start when I retired last February, its been virtually my full time occupation since then, I'm a regular visitor to archives offices from Derbyshire down to Bristol, my research has become addictive, frustrating and fullfilling I wish I had discovered web sites such as this a lot earlier, looking round the site I'm amazed at the amount of assistance being offered, I'm pleased to become a member. :P

Really good to have you on board!

We have a main section called Genealogy discussion for all counties other than the "Black country " area counties so feel free to post in there.

Or scrolling down the board we have the Black country genealogy section so any queries from there post there.

Your help on here will be truly appreciated
