A bit personal Antie Em!!
I wasn't talking about myself but by coincidence we,well i wasn't i was just listening well sort of,talking about bottom drawers last night.
It seems girls of a certain age still do this.
I've never heard of boys having bottom drawers but maybe they do. Peterd? Marky?

Re: Bottom Drawer
I spent a lot of time single, living in unfurnished accomodation, so had collected a lot of the 'bottom drawer' stuff, although how one is supposed to get a bed/settee into a bottom drawer has always bothered me.
Currently investigating the Hillmans of Sussex.

Re: Bottom Drawer

We might imagine that top draw is the best then bottom draw means the worst!! It's not so !! Which in turn demonstrates the difference between the literal and the metaphorical!!

I've been wearing this frock since Christmas, just shows how much notice you take.
What's the difference between a frock and a dress?

Mmmm...my botton drawer has got undies in it. Saving them for the future!
I should really use a new pair, these are getting a bit crusty.
