This family needs looking at on your BBC site
IMO the orginal first son Josiah died the very next year making Josiah hackett/Sarah Priest connection invalid

how do you associate this burial with josiah
hackett son of james and hannah
hackett ? this is poss a josiah
hackett who is not a child poss a young adult ?
look at inscription directly below its state a child of ........... or d of ........... or s of ..........
if this josiah
hackett who died 1791 only 18 months old would you expect it to follow the same format as above ? what do you think ?

It is a discussion forum, its just my opinion that the first Josiah died and they reused the name later on, it would be unlikely that there would be 2 living Josiahs in the same family, also there were 2 elizabeths and 2 James, so they did reuse the name quite a bit

the question is corner shop how do you asscoiate the death of josiah
hackett 1791 with james and hannah ?

What I have written is what it says in the replacement fire and water damaged translation books, I know its lacking the points you mentioned, so your conclusion could be right, but it might not.
to look at book go to
http://www.archive.org and find the rowley regis book, do a search on the pdf file
What should be done is to look for a foolproof connection between Josiah
Hackett / Sarah Priest and James
Hackett, is there one?

yes ive got the books as you can download the pdf and search it
will try to get a marriage look up for
jesse will see if it say father josiah ?
jesse could be james kid (josiah and benjamin brother) no marriage yet for him
