Witch ancestors?

Post by ruperty »

Do you have ancestors who were convicted as witches? If so please get in touch.

I am researching medieval witch trials and am looking for living descendants of people convicted as witches whose assets were confiscated.

Any information appreciated.

Oh how interesting!
Nothing I know of so far in my family but think it will be an interesting topic!

I'd love to know what you have found so far.

Weren't some just proven to be Witches to get rid of them too?

I was reading in the Black Country Bugle about a lady called Jinnie Bottleup. I want to try and find more about her if I can. She was known as a Bone Setter. She cured people of joint problems and even Drs would send people to her.
