Is this a Jewish Wedding

Postby garrypaulbrooks » Fri Oct 30, 2020 10:16 am

I found a photo of a bride & groom on their wedding day from my late mother's collection It had "1950?" written on the back. I'm none too sure who the happy couple are. You can see it at:

My late mother had a number of Jewish in-laws, I wondered whether this could be a Jewish wedding?

It's hard to be sure because of the flash reflected in the mirror, but I think there are Menorah candles on the background top-right.

All help gratefully received!

Wouldn't the groom be wearing something on his head then? I know he could have a very small kippah but there is no sign of it.
