burial records

Postby picture_man36 » Thu Aug 09, 2018 12:23 am

Hello, not quite a newbie. I've been researching my family genealogy on and off for the last 18 years. I had older parents which meant grandad was born in 1892 and was old enough to see action in Ww1.

Like a lot of people my grandparents moved about and emigrated to the USA in 1921, returning in 1935. I've managed to build a reasonable tree. Unfortunately my ancestors lived 130 miles from where we currently live which has meant a lot of internet research and a few £'s on some of the sites. I'd like to find the graves of great grandfather, great great grandfather who passed away in 1935 and 1887 respectively. Is there an online resource to help locate them or is it a trip to the north east and a day in the archives?

Any help would be greatly appreciated
Cheers
