Good news for people who have Irish ancestors!
"People of Irish Catholic ancestry will be able to trace their origins back almost 300 years online from Wednesday."

I have Irish, Welsh , Belgian and Black Country ancestors and always left Irish off at 1901 and 1911 Census because difficult to follow back without Census records before then so this site will help but only if you know parish concerned
