Park Farm.

Postby aggyann » Wed Jan 28, 2015 1:22 am

Hiya people, I am new to the site.My hubby and i took our dog for a walk around Sandwell Valley. We came across Park Farm. There was a building there that appeared to be a cottage of sorts. I was wandering if that place was the same cottage /farm house that my hubby's mother lived in as a child. My mother-in-Law tells me that she lived on a farm at Park Farm. in the year approx 1923 and there after . She can recollect her early years on that farm. ,her father used to work there,According to census , he occupied the building next to Park Farm. I am wondering if anyone could throw some light on this. Photos would be even better .. Thank you for letting me join

A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.

Welcome aggyann.

Take a look at the Black Country History web site http://blackcountryhistory.org/. Some photos here of Sandwell Park Farm. The cottage you are referring to may be on there.
