ARC TBC Ethel Birch/Dorothy Pittaway/Robert Birch

I've recently received the following email:
After watching the Antiques Roadshow the other night which was from the Black Country, it made me think of my family relations that lived at Romsley. After doing a search on Google I found your link.

The two ladies were Ethel Birch and Dorothy Pittaway, they ran the Bakers in Oldhill which I visited several times as a schoolboy. From memory although a little hazy I think their was a son ‘Robert Birch’. My late father was related in someway to the Birch family.

Hope this is of interest

Regards

My family, through my paternal grandmother, Fanny Louise Birch, were the bakers called Birch in Old Hill but I can find no mention of an Ethel or a Robert nor can I find anything relating to a Dorothy Pittaway excepting the following possible record:
England & Wales, Civil Registration Death Index, 1916-2007
DEATH, BURIAL, CEMETERY & OBITUARIES
NAME: Lilian Dorothy Pittaway
BIRTH: 13 Mar 1930
DEATH: Jan 2005 - Sandwell, West Midlands, England

Please can anyone find anything regarding any of them?

Thanks.

Thanks Jimmy, that looks good for Dorothy.

I wonder, if Ethel is a distant cousin to my ancestors, can she be tied in to this family:

Is this still a Brickwall, or have you solved it?

Unless otherwise advised this will be moved to the Brickwalls Archived section
within 24 hours

Might as well as archive, I haven't progressed any further but haven't the time to follow this yet, I must get those Hillmans sorted out.
