ARC TBC Father of Samuel Hall - b 1818

Postby Fatman » Mon Mar 20, 2017 1:22 pm

This post relates to http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... ver=398698

Samuel is my 4x Great Grandfather.
Previously on this forum, we deciphered his second marriage to Jane Betts - which lists his father as Joseph Hall.

But i cant find anything else to find out how to go any further with Joseph.

Can anyone help or suggest a way to research further?
I have some time off in a few weeks too, so if a real life visit to an archive would help, then I would be happy to try that and contribute back to Black Country Connections

Thanks
Andrew

Hi Jimmy

Thanks for these. Ive investigated this before and probably came to the same conclusion that he is the father - although theres no absolute connection to prove theyre connected.

I got hold of the All Saints records to try and show more but there are no more obvious connections to validate this

Think this may be the end of the line :(

How about working on the Spon Lane Joseph... there seem to be quite a few kids to trace. Some had sons named Samuel. It might be worth seeing who their marriage witnesses were.
