ARC TBC William Toy m Mary Parker

Postby NickToye » Fri Sep 09, 2016 9:39 pm

Hi,

I originally thought that a William Toy b 1768 was possibly married to an Elizabeth Westwood and that they had a son William Toy b 1788,

But I have just discovered a William Toy who was baptised 18 Aug 1788 had a father William Toy and mother Mary Toy nee Parker. I may well be barking up the wrong tree, but it may well be something as I was undecided about Elizabeth Westwood.

An issue is that he was baptised in Birmingham, where I thought my family were Halesowen/Quinton way, but I have no confirmation of William Toy b 1768 being from Halesowen, so they could have moved, perhaps Mary Parker was from the area.

It's been a while since I've been on the site, so apologies if this is in the wrong forum.

However, Elizabeth (Betty) Westwood did marry a William Toy in Halesowen, so maybe it is Betty and not Mary.

Ok, so does that mean it won't be closed?

Whilst I appreciate all the help everyone gives me, do you think it may be an option to bring in a Geneaologist?

These seem to be good http://www.sog.org.uk/learn/education-s ... nealogist/
