ARC TBC Sarah Laker (Bower)

Postby SRD » Thu Jun 02, 2016 8:36 am

I have a Sarah Bower bap 29th Jan 1843 Upton-cum-Chalvey (Slough) Buckinghamshire daughter of Robert & Maria.
In 1864 she married Albert Laker, b 1844 West Grinstead (Horsham) to John & Ruth, at St George Bloomsbury.
Albert possibly died June quarter 1871 reinforced by the 1871 possible census record of Sarah, widow at 135 Church St. Paddington which also shows 2 children, Louisa & Florence.

I can find four possible children,
Albert Robert William bap 1865 died 1868
Florence b 1869 d 1871 Kensington (Paddington is within the district)
Louise Maria b 1867 Kensington (Paddington is within the district)
Mary bap 2 Jan 1872, living at 102 Cavendish St. Paddington (No birth record)
But Mary's baptism (the best part of 2 years after Albert's possible death) shows parents as Albert & Sarah without showing Albert as deceased.

After that baptism I can't find hide nor hair of any of them.

Can anyone find them for me please?
Thanks.

It looks like this should be in Brick Walls.

Is this still a Brickwall, or have you solved it?

Unless otherwise advised this will be moved to the Brickwalls Archived section

Still not solved but if it's cluttering up the place you can archive it.
