Irish Counties - As Gaeilge to English

Postby brickwalls » Fri Aug 20, 2010 1:47 am

Not sure where this would be best put, however I have noticed that the LDS are particularly fond of using both English and Irish for the County names, and sometimes the records which are in one section aren't in the other. So in an effort to make it easier for people to research on the LDS Pilot site, here is a list of Irish counties in English, and their respective Gaeilge names. Also included is the Province and whether it is Northern Ireland or the Republic.

A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.
