A Sad Day For Cadbury's ?

Postby mallosa » Tue Jan 19, 2010 9:18 pm

Do you have family that worked for Cadburys?
I feel very sad at the latest news of a possible takeover! What are your feelings?

It is a shame, not only for the 400 or so families that will loose a wage but also the loss of a company that we brits have grown up with. I'm afraid it is just another example of how we are slowly 'selling up' here and OUR way of life is changing beyond recognition.
Not so long ago if something had 'made in Britain' stamped on it, it meant really good quality! In those days it really was GREAT Britain....whats happening now?

The worst of it is, I heard today, that RBS which is owned by the British Taxpayer has given Kraft our money to buy it with. Kraft will then use it to put Bournville Staff out of work, what an outrage! Linell.
