Does anyone know of any lists of children evacuated to Canada before & during WWII? I'm particularly looking for Ian M R Buckton b.1930 Horsham, parents Minnie Rhoda d. 1939 and Alexander.

Yes, thanks Jimmy. And I've got him going back a couple of months later. What I haven't got is any sign of him after he was born. He was the last born, and late at that, some 13 years after his previous sibling.

His mum having died early in WWII, and I couldn't find him going off to Canada in his maturity, so I wondered if his father, who was approaching 50, might have sent him off to Canada as a child evacuee.
