Hi guys,

I'm trying to find a death record and the year of death for my ancestor ARTHUR BAKER, so I can order a certificate. I can't seem to find it on Ancestry.co.uk.

I found these details for him on the 1911 census. Please could you help me? Many thanks, Darren

The nearest I can find is:
Arthur BAKER. died Jan/Mar 1917
Lichfield,Staffs.
Age: 61 yrs.
Vol. 6B. page 622.

If you're ordering from the GRO, sometimes it's a good idea not to use the GRO ref, then you can state last known address occupation etc. If the info you give doesn't match they refund your money.
Although if he's moved it may not help!
