Just going over some old ground and tidying up my Barklam Tree.

I have John William Barklam, son of James Barklam and Sarah Ann Stanton, born in 1863 in Tipton. Couldn't find him after 1881 but, with help, have found the following in America

1900, Pittsburgh Ward 24, Allegheny, Pennsylvania.
John J Barklain 33. Mill lab. England. Immigration Year: 1887.
Sarah Barklain 25. Ireland. Immigration Year: 1889.
William J Barklain 6. Pennsylvania.
Sarah Barklain 5. Pennsylvania.

1910 Hillvale Borough, Allegheny, Pennsylvania.
John W Barklam, Head, 46, Born in New York, Puddler in Iron Works, Mother and Father both born in England
Sarah Barklam, Wife, 36
John W Barklam, Son, 16, Born in Pensylvania, Father Born in New York, Mother Irish
Sarah Barklam, Daur, 14, Born in Ohio, Father Born in New York, Mother Irish

The 1910 entry gives his place of birth as New York, but this must be the same person.

I can't find a marriage for John, so he might have married in the USA.

Can someone with worldwide membership please have a look for any other information on John and his family.

On the 1910 census he says both is parents are English.

He says his wife is Irish English and she came to the USA in 1887.

1930 census he is still living at the same place and still says he was born in New York and his wife in Northern Ireland. Says she arrived in 1887.

I already have that information, I don't think he was born in New York. It's quite an uncommon name, so I do think this is him and as on the 1900 census, he was born in England.

I can't find a marriage in the UK, so wondered if he was married in the USA. Also would like to find emigration records if poss.
