Possible that William Frank Turney served in The Household Battalion and was an acting corporal with Regimental Number 2577.

Medal card exists but no service or pension records.

The Household Battalion consisted of recruits who signed up with the cavalry and were then thrown together into the Household Battalion, and infantry unit, after the slaughter of Somme left the British a bit short of shooters.
