This is very interesting. You can click on the time-line and read about conflicts that I did not even know existed (mind you, history is not my strong point). Wouldn't it be great if this was done for the earlier conflicts? Then you could see where ancestors might have been fighting.

I'd heard that sadly there hasn't been a single year since WW2 when a British Soldier hasn't died in combat somewhere in the world! That timeline helps me to see why.
