Hi all,

I have recently setup a project to document the last known or current location of our ancestors WW1 medals, with the goal of reuniting as many as possible with those searching for those awarded to their ancestors.

The project is growing daily and now have over 500 medals and soldiers documented.

We cannot advertise publicly their current owners or locations so if there is one on the list you believe to belong to your ancestor then please contact me and I will contact the seller/Owner directly and put you in touch - email: [email protected]

What a fantastic idea!

I know who has my Grandad's and they are not even blood related.

There should be a law to force them to hand them over to the legal next of kin.
