Postby mallosa » Tue Nov 16, 2010 1:14 pm

Trying to establish if this is the same John Blakeway that we have on BCC

BLAKEWAY John
9747 Private: Machine Gun Corps (Infantry) (formerly 26297 Worcestershire Regiment).
Killed in action 5th November 1917. Aged 19.
Born: Blackheath. Enlisted: Birmingham.
Son of John and Sarah Ann Blakeway, of 82 Hackett Street, Blackheath.
Buried: The Huts Cemetery, Ypres, Flanders. XIV.B.17.

Can you find any more information on him please?
