11th Regiment of Dragoons

Postby marie » Wed Oct 29, 2008 12:41 am

In 1777 , Thomas Peploe of the 11th Regiment of Dragoons married Ann Cordenler in New Romney, Kent - he is listed as being of the parish, but there really were not many Peploes in Kent - most were in Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, etc. So it there some way to find out about his enlistment, service and possible death with the regiment? At the moment, all I have is the marraige fact and I'm hoping he will fit into the family.

A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.
