2nd Boer war

Are there any online records of serving soldiers in the Boer war? Think findmypast has some reference to them. I have just been told that my gran's brother may have been there. His name was Harry Dean born 1878 to Hagar and John Dean of Netherton. He was a survivor.
Researching Foley, Burley, Dean, Danks, Smith, Pugh, Hughes, Shakespeare.
