I wonder if anyone could help me please.
I am trying to find the record of service for my husband's grandfather.
Leonard Whittington born 1905 died 1960.
He served with the Royal Corps of Signals from 1926 1945.
As a surprise for Christmas I am hoping to get miniature copies of his servive medals for my hubby.
I have tried most of the military sites but nothing is coming up. I know he served at Dunkirk.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
You will need to request Leonard's service records which should give units, dates and places served . The link below taken from Hints & Tips thread goes into detail regarding the procedure and includes the required paperwork.
