ARC TBC...................Sydney Vincent

Postby vickime2u » Sun Nov 13, 2011 2:12 pm

Hi,

I've been asked to do some research into the name of Sydney Vincent who died in WW1. We belive he was a local man (West Midlands) and the only Sydney Vincent I can find on the 1901 census that was local was born 1890 in Quarry Bank. I can also find a record of Sydney Arthur Vincent on CWGC who died 13/11/1916 in Thiepval, France. I belive this is the same Sydney Vincent as the one born in Quarry Bank but was just wondering if anyone would be able to find more information to confirm this.

Also if anyone knows where I could find more information on his family or of his service in the army it would be much appreciated.

Thanks
