Hi Jimmy,

Thanks for your help with this. Mom cant remember any names and unfortunately all relatives who may know are no longer with us. Have had a look at medal and theres no number on it so thinking it may have been a commemorative medal of some kind. However we did find some info and we beleive he was in the
Duke of Cornwall light infantry
His birthday was 11 january . circa 1892 as he may have lied ?

Thats all i know, that and his fathers name was Charles, I'm just trying to find him on census at mo.
