"Pte Wilcox had served in the South African Campaign. He was the husband of Eliza Wilcox of 2/7 Eel Street, Oldbury, and son of the late Benjamin and Sarah Wilcox of Canal Side, Whimsey Bridge, Oldbury. In early June 3rd Worceters in rTenches between the Menin Road and Sanctuary Wood in the Ypres salient. Four men were killed, including Pte Wilcox."

trying to find out what unit he served with in the boer war and confirm its him on find my past before spending me money buying credits! being very tight and all that :lol:
